Replacement of five existing single-glazed timber sliding sash windows (three to the front elevation, two to the rear) with new hardwood (Accoya) vertically sliding sash windows, painted white, matching the existing windows in dimensions, frame profile, glazing bar pattern and separation, opening type, reveal depth and external appearance, the principal change being slim-section vacuum insulated glazing (nominal 12mm unit, within the Council's 14mm maximum) in both sliding sashes in place of single glazing; installation of three small extract ventilation terminals at high level on the rear elevation to meet Building Regulations ventilation requirements for the two shower rooms and the kitchen; and like-for-like renewal of the existing ventilation grille on the front elevation within its existing opening. No alteration to any window opening size.
