Extension of existing mezzanine steelwork platform including cantilever on existing columns and additional screwbolt fixings at abutments with perimeter 1963 masonry. Adaptation of associated 3-phase electrical board and lighting circuits to suit new console and instrument maintenance. Replacement of linoleum floor covering in organ gallery with plywood acoustic sheet and linoleum. Renewal of acoustically transparent screens backing 1963 metalwork sculpture screens to north and south galleries. Addition of tension wire balustrade guarding to existing 720mm high north and south gallery parapets.
