Reason: poor specimen and suppressed by other trees. T3 (T255) Indian Bean Tree (Catalpa bignonioides): Selective and formative prune/ crown thin, concentrating on branch tips and resulting in 15-20% crown reduction (shorten branches by 1 - 1.5m leaving wounds of less than 10cm). Group 1 (Growth overhanging pavement as discussed). Prune back to boundary line. Prudent periodic management of large trees next to and overhanging public road and pavement. Excessive shading.
