We propose to install External Wall Insulation to the front and rear elevations, this consists of a 90mm Mineral Wool EWI system to be applied to the solid external walls, finished in a silicon off white coloured render. This system is being fitted as part of a scheme run by The Aston Group, being part funded via SHDF funding through Waltham Forest Council. This scheme is in place to improve the energy rating of the properties across the Waltham Forest borough and to help the environment by bringing down the energy consumption and carbon footprint of their properties. This type of insulation will also help the residents living in fuel poverty with more cost effective and manageable annual energy bills. The properties under this scheme will be having a host of home improvements carried out such as, External/Internal wall insulation, cavity wall insulation, loft insulation, solar panels, upgraded energy efficient ventilation, roofline/flat roof insulation.
