Proposed refurbishment and fire safety improvement works comprising the replacement of the existing external wall render system with a new non-combustible fa‡ade system; replacement of plastic extract vent grilles with aluminium grilles; installation of automatic opening vents (AOVs) to the central escape stair, sixth floor, and west stair core (replacing an existing Crittall window); replacement of terrace roof coverings with a liquid-applied membrane; and installation of enlarged rainwater outlets to improve terrace drainage.
