Retrospective development consisting of roof extensions to existing 3rd floor (rear building) and 4th floor (New Road frontage building) together with internal layout amendments to increase number of bedrooms of approved hotel from 44 to 73 bedrooms; widening of existing two storey glazed link bridge housing the fire escape stairwells; installation of opaque glazing on the north elevation; creation and installation of roof plant and installation of mesh fencing up to 1m (with handrail up to 1.1m) surrounding the roof level. Installation of three flues to the north elevation with the outlet finishing away from residential windows/on the roof. Use of the external area to the north of the site as a smoking area and cycle parking only.
