Various works to trees within grounds of Smithy Street Primary School as recommended by tree survey report. Tree work schedule: 4 x Elder, 2 x Hawthorn, 1 x Cherry - Reduce crowns by approximately 2.0 metres in height and lateral spread, making cuts at suitable growth points and raise to maintain 2.5 vertical clearance and remove deadwood in crowns. 1 x Whitebeam - remove deadwood in crown 1 x Whitebeam - remove deadwood in crown and remove sub-lateral emanating 2.0 metres on north side of main stem, back to main lateral, ensuring natural target pruning techniques are employed. 1 x Hawthorn - Reduce crown by approximately 1.5m in height and lateral spread making cuts at suitable growth points. Remove lateral to south with crack between 2.0 & 4.0 metres back to main stem. Remove epicormics to north growing through fence of steps up to walkway. 4 x Hawthorn, 3 x Elder, 2 x Hazel - Reduce lateral spread of crowns to south that overhang the public footpath by approximately 1.5m, making pruning cuts at suitable growth points. 3 x Pear - Remove sub-lateral branches on south side of stem that are in contact with top of fence (at approximately 3.0 metres above ground level) back to main lateral branch, ensuring natural target pruning techniques are employed. 4 x Pear - Remove sub-lateral branches on south side of stem that are in contact with top of fence (at approximately 3.0 metres above ground level) back to main lateral branch, ensuring natural target pruning techniques are employed. For tree in group furthest to west, remove lateral branch to north rubbing against roof at 3.0 metres, back to junction with sub-lateral branches.
