T1 - Maple: Re-pollard by removing the regrowth back to the established pollard points, as indicated in red on the accompanying photograph. Retain the existing pollard knuckles and avoid cutting into the main stem or below the established pollard points. T2 - Maple: Crown reduce by up to 2 metres in height and lateral spread due to the tree's declining physiological condition and associated crown dieback. Prune back to suitable live lateral growth points, removing deadwood and retaining a balanced crown with adequate live foliage wherever practicable. The works are intended to reduce mechanical loading while retaining the tree and shall be undertaken in accordance with BS 3998:2010.
