Removal of tilting weir and installation of Rock ramp, incorporating the existing tilting weir base into the ramp construction. The rock ramp is to have a minimum 1 in 20 to 1 in 35 slopes if possible. Reduce river width by installing soft engineered berms using site won material to increase depths and flow. Vegetation clearance to improve light penetration. Temporary compound area/s adjacent to river for material storage etc. Notches can be cut into the smaller weirs downstream of the tilting weir to improve fish passage. Construct several fish passable structures to raise water level to 23m AOD maintaining the current water level and driving head to feed wetlands. Also provide a controllable feed from wetlands to main drain toward Redrow Habitat pond.
