Works to a tree with a TPO: 1. Sorbus aucuparia T164 - Condemed by tree officer. Slow death, bacterial canker, vigarous shooting from the base. Remove tree and replace with Sciadopitys verticillata. 2. Aesculus hippocastanum T161 - Veteranisation over two years. First cuts to 8m reduction. Mower damage and Ganoderma present. 3m radial mulch and rope off to reduce risk of failing and prolong life of tree. 3. Aesculus hippocastanum T157 - Condemed by tree officer. Reduce height to 3m monolith for biodiversity, replant with with Celtis australis. 4. Aesculus hippocastanum T156 - Condemed by tree officer. Reduce height to 4m monolith for biodiversity, replant with Liquidambar styraciflua. 5. Aesculus hippocastanum T154 - Lift to 5m above storage bays to reduce potential for damage. Tree officer stated that A. hippocastanum is becoming less and less suitable for our climate, with considerations to site and use. All efforts made to rope off mature trees and mulch root plate to prolong their life.
