Variation of Conditions 1 'Approved plans' and 6 'Noise impact assessment' of planning permission 22/AP/0103 dated 28/04/2022 for the 'Construction of a single storey side-rear extension with a pergola to the rear and an 'L-shaped' rear dormer extension, in conjunction with the raising of the roof ridge by 420mm and the installation of two rooflights on the front roof slope; the installation of an enclosed air source heat pump and photovoltaic panels on the roof of the dormer; the restoration of the original brickwork to the front of the property and the installation of horizontal tiled cladding to the rear; the installation of new aluminium framed windows throughout, including two Juliet balconies to the rear; and the removal of the existing front boundary wall and the addition of a timber bin store and metal planters to the front garden'. The changes include increasing the size of the acoustic enclosure for the air source heat pump and revising the wording of Condition 6 to allow for a representative Background sound level at the nearest noise sensitive premises to be used and the Specific plant sound level to be 5 dB(A) or more below the background sound level in this location, opposed to 10 dB(A) or more.
