External refurbishment of Wheat Wharf Building. The proposed works include: -New slate tiles to match existing are to be installed across the roof -New roof insulation will be installed to enhance the thermal performance of the roof -All existing roof lights are to be replaced with 'Heritage' double glazed roof lights -New roof windows to select 3rd Floor leaseholders apartments -All leadwork to be replaced with new. Leadwork will be carried out in accordance with Lead Sheet Association details. -Damaged gutters and downpipes are to be repaired or replaced like for like to improve water management and reduce the risk of water ingress causing further damage to the heritage asset -Parts of exterior brickwork and render will be cleaned to remove any current build-up of soiling and staining -Timber windows and external doors are to be repaired and refurbished like for like -Select external balconies will be refurbished to improve their appearance
