A1 - Himalayan Birch A2 - Purple Plum A1 - Himalayan Birch - reduce tree on neighbour's side (No.23) by pruning sub-lateral limbs back to suitable growth points because neighbours requested a reduction in overhang. A2 - Purple Plum - crown reduction by 5% of leaf area (approx 1m of branch length) to promote natural crown shape (see BS3998). The work is for maintenance and to reduce the impact of the crown on our neighbours (No.23). We have sought advice from a professional tree surgery service (Arboricultural Association registered). The remaining trees identified on the sketch plan (attached) were also assessed but these do not require maintenance work at present (A3-A5 no work proposed). All work will be carried out by these specialists in accordance with recommended British Standards and guidelines BS3998-2010 and European Tree Pruning Guide or best practice. Remarks:
