Replacement planting will comprise native and wildlife-friendly species including beech (Fagus sylvatica), silver birch (Betula pendula), hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), blackthorn (Prunus spinosa), hazel (Corylus avellana), apple (Malus spp.) and pear (Pyrus spp.). Planting will be undertaken within the garden and boundary areas to maintain and enhance overall tree and shrub cover whilst providing significantly improved biodiversity and habitat value.
