Description of Development: Replacement of existing single-glazed timber sash windows to the front elevations on first and second floor with new double-glazed timber sash windows (with acoustic glass) matching the original opening method, design, proportions and detailing of the existing windows. Site Description: The application property, 52A Broad Street, Teddington, is a two-storey residential maisonette located above a ground-floor commercial unit. The building forms part of a continuous terrace within Broad Street and lies within the Broad Street Conservation Area. The property features traditional timber sash windows consistent with the prevailing character of the surrounding Victorian/Edwardian streetscape.
