To install a ventilation system in the basement to overcome damp and condensation as well as providing a healthier environment. If it is possible to make one or two vent openings in the rear wall this would facilitate the installation. There are other options available if this is not possible. To provide an extractor fan in the Raised Ground Floor bathroom which would require an exterior vent. To install a new bathroom to the rear of the Lower Ground Floor be located below the bathroom in the floor above) There would be no structural changes to be made apart from making a wooden stud partition with a door. The existing outdated kitchen needs to be replaced. Some of the windows need repair and this will be done sympathetically rather than replacing them. There would be no external changes to the appearance of the building and the minor internal changes would be in areas that have already been altered therefore having no impact on its Listed and Conservation Area status. The owner is aware of the historical significance of the property and intends to retain as many of the remaining features as possible and will do everything in their power to repair the property and maintain it to a good standard.
