We were granted planning permission to run a monthly produce market in Teddington outside The King's Head (WK/202482508) last October. The planning permission was to change the use of a pub carpark to a farmers' market. We have now run the market 5 times (Oct, Nov, Dec, Jan and Feb). We are really proud of how it's been received by the public, and of the community vibe it has created. Together with support for local traders, and bringing fantastic, fresh, organic produce to Teddington every month. Due to the popularity of the market, and request to have it more often from the public / traders, we would like to run the market twice per month (on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month). The layout doesn't change, nor the time or location - just the frequency of the market (twice per month, instead of once per month). The King's Head (private owners of the carpark) are fully supportive of this, as the car park is usually empty during the market hours, so it's making use of empty space, that also brings new customers to the pub too.
