The proposals comprise of a new spiral stair on the exterior of the AQML building on the west facade from the rooftop to the ground floor. A section of the existing brise soleil will be removed and the new escape stair clad in matching brise soleil alined with the existing cladding. Contrasting cladding will be applied to the ground floor section of the stair to maintain the aesthetic whilst also providing security and restricting unauthorised access.
