Willows 136 Croydon Road Reigate Surrey RH2 0NQ

T1 - Horse chestnut. Fell / dismantle down to ground level and grind out the remaining root. Reason: The tree appears to have patches of bleeding canker in both of the stems as well as the canopy. There are large sized dead / split limbs overhanging the pavement and the road. Coniophora puteana also appears to be present on the lower left hand stem with a section spanning around 1 meter long and 20cm wide. There are also several patches of exposed heartwood where I expect fruiting bodies are exposing themselves (not present at the time of my visit / no invasive testing was undertaken). T2 - Sycamore. Fell to ground level and grind out the remaining stump. Reason: The tree is located in the very corner of the front garden, it is growing over Croydon Road and well as fosse lodges property at an angle due to being overcrowded (mainly due to the chestnut and yew tree). The tree has poor structural form, there are signs of included bark in the union of the first fork union.
