The proposed works comprise alterations and additions to an existing Edwardian dwelling located within a conservation area. At the rear of the property, works include raising the parapet on the party wall and raising the existing glazed roof. The existing polycarbonate roof covering will be removed and replaced with a double-glazed glass roof. The existing rear door and window will also be replaced with a double-glazed window with an Aluminum frame. Solar panels are proposed on the rear roof slope. To the front of the property, a small Aluminum bicycle store is proposed within the front garden to provide secure cycle storage. The front garden wall is to be replaced with a brick wall in a natural buff colour to match the existing front facade. There will be a hedge line planted atop this new front garden wall, in keeping with other front gardens on the road as well as what is recommended in the 'Aldersbrook Conservation Area and Lake House Estate Design Guide'.
