Nottingham City Council proposes to undertake various arboricultural works to Council-managed trees within conservation areas. Works include crown lifting and selective pruning to provide clearance from footways, highways and traffic signs; targeted crown reductions to address structural defects and declining upper crowns; removal of dead and defective branches; and the sectional felling of a declining Ginkgo, followed by stump removal and replacement planting. The works are proposed for tree safety, appropriate tree management and highway/public access purposes, as detailed within the accompanying tree works schedule.
