3 Hemp Mill Walk Loggerheads Market Drayton Shropshire TF9 4EY

Fell 1 no. Common Ash tree (approx. 45ft / 13.7m height) affected by Chalara Ash Dieback (Hymenoscyphus fraxineus). Reason for Works: The tree is suffering from Chalara Ash Dieback, presenting a progressive biosecurity and structural risk given its close proximity to residential buildings and adjacent roads. The removal is proposed to mitigate safety hazards and prevent excessive shading to surrounding properties. Application History: Works on this tree were previously granted under planning reference 23/00229/TWA (granted 12/05/2023) and reference 20/00892/TWA (granted 20/10/2020). As the new proprietors of 3 Hemp Mill Walk, we are seeking renewal/re-authorization to carry out these previously approved works. Execution & Replacement: All arboricultural operations will be carried out by a competent, fully insured arboricultural contractor in accordance with BS 3998:2010 (Tree Work - Recommendations). Replacement Planting: To preserve local canopy cover, a replacement native specimen tree (10?12cm girth standard, approx. 1m+ height) will be planted within the garden boundary following felling.
