Tree 1: Declining rowan tree. The landowner is keen to remove a declining Rowan tree at the front of the property, as it is near a road and footpath she's worried she is liable for any damages that occur if it were to fail. Tree 2: Hawthorn. The Hawthorn tree by the front gate is growing too large and starting to grow through the BT wires feeding the property. I am suggesting reducing the canopy by approximately 15-20% to clear overhead wires and manage growth, pruning back to suitable lateral growth points while maintaining its natural shape. Trees 3 & 4: Mature copper beech trees. At the front and the back gardens there are 2 mature copper beech trees which are pruned in cycles to maintain their size and shape, I am notifying you of my intentions to do this again, taking a maximum of 1-2 meters off throughout the canopy and sides to match with the previous cuts. The client tells me this work has been done several times before so you should have this in your records. I have highlighted the positions of the trees on a satellite image taken, with the red cross indicating the Rowan tree we're requesting to remove, and the blue circles showing the 2 Copper Beech trees and the Hawthorn we're wanting to prune. We are fully NPTC qualified tree surgeons and all work will be carried out safely and to BS3998.
