Replacement of brick pavers with heritage clay brick pavers to match new concrete paving; replacement of existing timber sash windows on a like-for-like basis with laminated glass and repairs to existing box frames; masonry repairs to the stone cornice detail on the front elevation; replacement of existing roof coverings and flat roof sections. Internal works comprising fire door renewals, provision of new main building entrance doors, MEP works throughout the buildings, internal remodelling including the provision of en-suite facilities, creation of a new principal entrance to the scheme via the car park, relocation of the existing reception area to the proposed entrance and creation of a new communal area, and provision of a new communal kitchen in place of existing bathing facilities. External works to include the formalisation and reconfiguration of existing parking arrangements together with associated hard and soft landscaping works.
