13 Larkhall Rise Lambeth SW4 6JB

This proposal is for the replacement of all 5 existing single-glazed timber sash windows (3 front of flat and 2 rear) at Flat 3, 13 Larkhall Rise, with new A-rated double-glazed timber sash windows. The replacement windows will match the style of the existing windows, including design (deep bottom rail with slim meeting rail), glazing pattern, dimensions, materials (timber - accoya wood), opening mechanism (vertical sliding sash), and external appearance (horn shape, colour etc.) as well as meeting modern building standards (A rated units, hidden trickle vents). Removal of the existing windows and replacement with the new windows will take place from inside the flat. No alterations will be made to the window openings, surrounds, or the building fabric beyond what is necessary for the installation. They will fit neatly into the existing openings, recessed into the established reveal depth. The proposed works are intended to improve the condition, thermal performance and energy efficiency of the windows while maintaining the architectural character of the property, which is located within the Sibella Road Conservation Area.
