Rear garden (T1) Lime - crown reduce back to most recent (outermost) pruning points by removing approx. 2-3m. Remove basal / epicormics growth to a point approx. 1m above crown break. N.B. In order to maintain the shape of the tree the reduction must not remove all the crown by cutting through the pruning 'knuckles' but should be judiciously undertaken by reducing back to just above the previous reduction points and retaining the inner crown and suitable furnishing growth.
