Trees subject to tree preservation order (TPO) - LBI TPO (NO.334) 2007 Front garden: (T1) Lime (Tilia spp) - TPO tree number: 334/T8 Reduce back to previous points of reduction leaving furnishing growth. Remove epicormic up to street lamp then thin the rest by 20%. Reduce height of leading stem by 1-2 metres to appropriate growth point. (T2) Horse chestnut (Aesculus hippocastanum) - TPO tree number: 334/T9 Reduce back to previous points of reduction. Remove epicormic growth to 6m. Crown thin remainder on main stems by 20%. Remove branch growing into the Lime. Remove deadwood, weak and suppressed branches. Retain furnishing growth on all aspects. (T3) sycamore (Acer pseudoplatinus) - TPO tree number: 334/T10 Reduce back to previous points of reduction. Reduce rotten left hand limb by 1.5 metre to appropriate point. Reduce right hand side of crown 0.5 metre past previous to improve shape. Give 2 metre clearance from house. Clean out crown, remove deadwood, weak and suppressed branches. Rear garden: (T4) Beech (Fagus sylvatica) - TPO tree number: 334/T7 Suggested works are 10-15% thin. Reduce over long lateral branches by up to 1.5m back into the main crown. Reduce lower branches over garden of number 6 by 1-2 metres back into main crown line and lift over bay tree by 1-1.5m. Reduce back from all buildings and roofs to allow a clearance of 2 metres. crown Lift lower branches to 5 metres.
