Ground Control has contracted by Network Rail to cut vegetation on the railway at Gidea Park. The spec of the work is to clear 6.5m from the running rail, remove any leaf fall species such as Sycamore, Ash, Poplar, Sweet Chestnut, Horse Chestnut and Lime to boundary fence, and remove/reduce any trees that are within falling distance of the overhead lines and track. The work will cover either side of the station platforms and both sides of the railway track to the boundary fences(Crossways to Station Road).
