We wish to replace the two damaged old wooden vehicular gates at St. Margarets. One set of these gates used to be opened remotely, but this system has not worked for years. We were granted Planning and Listed Building Permission to replace these gates with new gates, attached to new brick piers, with one set of gates remotely operated, when we refurbished St. Margarets between 2017 and 2019, but this work was not completed at the time due to financial constraints. We would now like to replace the gates as planned with wooden gates that match the existing gates and the existing wooden fencing. We need to submit a new application as more than 3 years have passed since this Planning and Listed Building Permission was granted. The original granted planning applications were: P/0718/16, P/3329/16 and P/2410/17 and the last of these (P/2410/17) included detailed architect drawn plans of the gates (9874762-1) which we have attached to this application.
