Listed Building Consent is sought for refurbishment and repair of the building fabric. Works include replacing modern softwood bargeboard cladding with charred larch and substituting non-matching Velux-style roof lights with low-profile heritage types. Internally, the modern staircase at the west end will be removed and the original floor reinstated. A modern insulated wall and door will be taken out, along with cork wall insulation in the ground floor bedroom. The existing clay tile roof will be removed and reinstated using original or reclaimed matching materials.
