Variation of condition 2 (approved drawings) of planning permission ref: 2025/01638/FUL granted 5th September 2025 for the 'Demolition and re-building of the front (north) of the building with new windows and door configurations, removal of ground floor walls to create new entrance mews with new entrance door off the mews with replacement entrance gates facing Heathman's Road; replacement of existing roof covering with new roof including the installation of extract ducts, rooflights and solar panels in the roofslopes; installation of new air conditioning units at roof level located within flat roof recess; erection of new gable wall facing Heathman's Road including a new pitched roof over the entrance mews; replacement of 4no windows with new windows at first floor level, infilling of 4no windows and replacement of 1no window with a new window at ground floor level to the rear elevation; associated external alterations'. Amendments sought to include: A revised proposed alignment and external finish to the rebuilt front (north) wall of the building comprising of the elevation to be brought marginally forward by 340mm with a splayed alignment back to the left and right boundaries, and adjustment to the smaller gable section over the entrance mews; incorporation of a central glazed projection to the first floor of the front elevation, revised windows at ground floor level, and revised first floor (outer) windows; minor changes to the position of the proposed roof lights and solar panels; reduced size of the recessed flat roof area; and various changes to the internal layout of the building such as a smaller lift, a revised location of the staircase, and the incorporation of ancillary facilities at first floor rather than ground floor level.
