External alterations to include removal of several defective flat roof coverings and replacement with two and three layer, bituminous felt laid on rigid insulation, raising the profile of the roof and requiring the replacement of timber fascia boards with increased height fascia boards of the same material and decorated to match existing; replacement of roof lights and patent glazing currently in poor condition, with new roof lights and patent glazing to match existing; replacement of trims and flashings; and replacement of existing steel box gutters which are corroded and in poor condition, with the same profile aluminium units as has been done in other areas of the site.
