The demolition and replacement/ increase of height of an existing, masonry, rear (Lyme Grove) boundary wall. The works were previously granted planning consent based on the principle that the existing wall would be built upon, however subsequent investigation by a structural engineer has established that the wall requires complete replacement if it is to be extended upwards, and for the proposed new gated opening to be formed in it (to the same level and in the same location, respectively, as granted previous approval). The proposed brick has been approved as part of a satisfied approval condition (2024/2044) and the applicant wishes to continue in the use of this brick. This application is therefore solely concerned with the principle of replacing the wall in question, not the brick used.
