205 STOKE NEWINGTON CHURCH STREET Hackney N16 9ES

Western flank of 205 Stoke Newington Church St building in the garden of St Marys Church: trees that run alongside the building, not other trees in the vicinity.Shrubs have caused significant structural damage to the building as identified by the engineer/arborist survey report.Yew tree, Hawthorn trees, Elder tree, Dogwood trees, Field maple. (see OS map supplied with application for location). All trees are young and were planted in 2011 as part of the Church garden clearance at the time. They have been planted directly up to thebuilding, just 1-2ft from the building. As per the engineer report, this is causing extensive internal damage. The trees need to be removed with immediate effect and replaced by suitable shrubbery to avoid further building damage and so buildingrepairs can commence before the damage worsens. This is an urgent matter and the expediting of this request would be much appreciated.
