The proposal is to change a window in the existing 2 storey small 1950's bathroom extension to the northern end of this grade 2 listed building. This extension is not a stylistic part of the original early Victorian building. The present window is a 9 paned sash window which no longer opens. It has a window lock and the key has long been lost and the window has been painted shut over many years which has resulted in a mould problem in the bathrom. We are proposing to change the window for a replica, wooden, double glazed sash window. The reason for replacing the window is that increased ventilation is necessary to prevent mould increasing in the bathroom and a functioning single window which is easily openable is vital for this.
