The works consist of: A. The creation of the ground floor extension to the underside of the existing first-floor link between the Pathology building and the main hospital (119sq.m) B. The reconfiguration of the ground floor of the Pathology building into an Essential Services Laboratory and the reinstating of a double door and reconfiguration of two other external doors and side screens. C. The infill at the ground floor level of a small inset between the west side of the main southern escape stair and the external skin of the pathology laboratory (5sq.m) D. The replacement of the first-floor plant to the North of the First floor of the Pathology building E. The creation of a fenced trolley bay for waste to the southwest of the main pathology building. F. The re-tasking of the building to the northwest of the Pathology building to a storage facility for the new ESL of which items A, C & D are most relevant to the planning application
