Justification: The proposed works are to prevent damage to the overhead fibre optic cable running through the upper crown area. All of the proposed work recommendations are remedial works only & will not affect the overall amenity value of the tree. Maximum final cut dimensions will not exceed 50mm in diameter. The proposed works will also benefit the tree, preventing the overhead cable rubbing & damaging the upper crown/branches.
