This tree is a fine specimen that our client wishes to maintain in order to preserve it for as long as possible. large cavity on the rear side of the tree that indicates some quite severe decay at the base. Suggested works: Reduce all aspects of the crown by 2-3 meters in order to reduce the sail of the tree at the tips. This should also encourage some new growth within the lower aspects of the crown. Remove any deadwood. Perform an aerial tree inspection and report the findings of any structural faults.
