The residents I am acting as agents for, Mr and Mrs Spall, live in Flat 9, 39-40 Bartholomew Close, EC1A 7JN. Their 4th floor apartment has 4 large windows which were installed when the 1988/89 building was converted from commercial offices to apartments in 2011/12. The existing windows are low grade retail quality with hinges that have proved to be inadequate for the size and weight of window they are carrying. Consequently the Spalls have had to have their windows sealed. Replacement with identical but high quality windows and fixings is urgently required.
