MERE HALL Mere Hall Estate, Mere, Cheshire East, WA16 0WY

T1- Copper Beech- Remove lower recently storm damaged limb. Full crown reduction of upto 5.5m pruning to appropriate growing points where possible. Crown thin remaining crown by upto 15% to reduce wind throw and risk of further limb failure. Crown lift on opposite side to faulted limb (East) to 9m from ground level to provide a level of crown balance and symmetry once limb is removed Note: This tree has recently suffered a large limb failure due to an included union. The tree has several other similar unions, requested works are to prevent future limb failure and ensure future health and retention. Radial crack lining stem up to 4m. Meripulus Giganteus brackets are present around the base of the tree indicating likely presence of significant root decay. This heavy reduction specification is being proposed as an alternative to felling. High target zone due to being located directly next to only driveway into carpark, failure also likely cause damage to nearby large Monkey Puzzle tree
