Yew (T1) - Selective pruning of the yew tree to remove and shorten branches that are currently brushing against and overhanging the roof and gutters of the neighbouring property. The proposed works are limited to the branches causing the current obstruction/contact, with the aim of providing sufficient clearance to prevent foreseeable damage to roof tiles and gutters. At the rear of the yew, the maximum extent of pruning required will be approximately 750mm from the existing branch tips. No general crown reduction or significant reshaping of the tree is proposed. The works will be carried out by a competent tree surgeon using appropriate pruning cuts and in accordance with good arboricultural practice.
