T2 - Cedar - front garden - Remove lateral branch to south at 9 metres attached in zone of split tissues (Defect 4 of Writtle Forest Report) and recent failure back to parent stem. Reduce length of small lateral branch directly above by 1 metre. Reduce lateral spread of the over-extended lateral to south-west by 2.5 metres. Reduce lateral spread of remaining crown by tip reduction to west by 1.5 metres to grade-in and balance. Reduce lateral spread of crown by tip reduction to north and east by 1.5 metres to balance. Ensure that all branches above Defect 1(of Writtle Forest Report) at 8 metres are reduced in length by approx. 1.5 metres and that any separate branches providing support to these branches are retained. Remove deadwood in crown over 40mm diameter. Refer to report for reasons.
