Tree On Long Lane Behind Nethergrove Rampton Road Longstanton Cambridgeshire

5 Day Notice to Fell 1 Horse Chestnut Tree (RT3) Please accept this as notification of intent to remove 1 dead standing Horse Chestnut at the lane (Long Lane) off Rampton Road, adjacent the former Oakington Airfields (nearest postcode CB24 3EN) Link to tree position in google earth: https://goo.gl/maps/Bu5J35MXPkaFSPqWA The tree failed to flush last year and is beginning to shed some of the dead limbs onto the path. A selection of photos are attached along with a location plan and short letter statement following a survey carried out in January this year- the tree in question is listed as RT3, no other works listed in the report are proposed to be carried out yet. Whilst the pics show the tree not in leaf (as expected for this time of year), the google aerial show the crown devoid of foliage. In terms of replanting, my client would be happy to do so, does the district have any species preferences to boost number locally. Perhaps a disease resistant Elm
