Proposed conservation of historic stonework with a programme of traditional repairs to the external elevations of the church, to include: whole or part replacement of identified limestone ashlar and mouldings, which have decayed beyond a functioning state; introduction of stainless steel pins to secure fractured stones, which are at risk of falling; general repointing of joints where existing mortars have failed; and repairs of decayed stone with lime based mortars (to match previously Historic England approved repairs).
