Non material amendment pursuant to planning permission 16/2106/FUL dated 20/12/16 for "Demolition of existing restaurant annex and parts of mezzanine structure to create a new visitor centre at Hangar 1, the refurbishment of building 52 to create a new visitor restaurant, landscaping of the site and other associated works. Alterations to parking. Additional listed building consent for the refurbishment of building 52 to create a new visitor restaurant". Amendments include changing of wording of condition 10, plant room and kitchen doors changed from timber to metal, relocation and resizing of glazed windows, louvred windows and rooflight. External screen at kitchen omitted, new ramps/steps, entrance lobbies and design amended. No works required to public highways. Changes to canopy and heritage booths replaced. Water tank and pump set enclosure materials changed from "weathering steel mesh" to "anodised aluminium fins", water tank and pump set enclosure size and height amended. Consequent reduction in number of parking spaces and reduction in amount of hard surface.
