The structure is fully demountable, installed on reversible pad foundations, and will remain in place for a temporary period of up to five years. No existing buildings are to be demolished. External finishes include light birch composite cladding to the public-facing elevations, with grey frames to complement the library setting. The proposal does not alter vehicular access, parking, or site layout. The building will be located a minimum of 3 metres from the existing library extension, with level access provided via an external ramp.
