Hillsboro House The Butts Belper Derbyshire DE56 1HX

This application involves proposed work to be carried out on the rear garden of Hillsboro House, The Butts, Belper. The property has been empty for some time and is owned by Dickon Clarke, 24 The Butts, Belper. The rear garden is in an extremely poor state which has led to complaints regarding overgrown hedges, trees & shrubbery. The intention of the owner is to tidy all the rear garden which involves the application for some small removals and then carry out re-planting when the garden has been updated. 1. Removal of a small Rowan tree growing within a retaining wall and causing significant damage 2. 30% reduction of a medium sized Horse Chestnut tree to remove away from overhead BT lines 3. Removal of 3 small self setting Holly trees growing through the patio also positioned close to overhead BT lines 4. Removal of a small Monkey Puzzle tree 5. Removal of small/medium Leylandii trees in a poor state of health, situated in a corner of the garden which seeks to bring more light to assist other plants and shrubs to be planted in the garden. There is a large Hornbeam tree in the garden with no plans to carry out any work on this and there is for information, proposed work to be carried out on the boundary privet hedge that has been worked on before.
